These cupcakes are vanilla with a little vanilla buttercream and topped with sugarpaste which I've embossed with a swirly pattern. I cut out tiny icing flowers to add around the edge and the message, hearts and centres of the flowers have been piped with royal icing, left to set then painted with edible gold paint, seeing as it's for a golden wedding anniversary. 50 years of marriage.....now that's something to celebrate.
